Midvale Main Street Theatre is excited to announce its first ever musical theatre summer camp! We have two camp options, so read our descriptions below to see which one fits your needs. When you are ready to register, our form is located at the bottom of the page.

 

Midvale Minis

Ages 5-12 years old

Camp will run July 15-19th, 2019 from 8:30 -11:30am

Cost: $90 **$20 non-refundable deposit required at sign up that goes towards tuition, which must be paid in full by first day of camp**

(Camp will be capped at 30 children)

 

Midvale Minis Theatre Camp is a fun 5 day long camp open to kids ages 5-12 years old. Campers will learn acting, singing, and dancing skills, how to make props, play theatre games, and at the end of the week perform for family and friends.

 

The workshops we will offer will include, but are not limited to:

  • Beginning Tap

  • Audition Prep Tips

  • Musical Theatre Dance

  • Improv games

  • Vocal Solo work

  • Prop Making

  • Headshots

  • End of Camp Showcase

 

Triple Threat Bootcamp

Ages 12-18 years old

Camp will run M-F, Jul 8-19th, 2019 from 12-5pm

Cost: $175  **$20 non-refundable deposit required at sign up that goes towards tuition, which must be paid in full by first day of camp**

(Camp will be capped at 20 students)

 

Our Triple Threat Theatre Boot Camp is an intense 2 week long camp (Monday-Friday) open to kids ages 12-18 years old..This course will give students an understanding of the voice and its physical components as applied to musical theatre. Students work on fundamentals of healthy singing: breath support, articulation, alignment, and proper construction/placement. We will cover all different aspects of dance, go over proper audition techniques, how to wow and stand out at a callback, we will  have guest teachers who have worked all over the valley, as well as one who has worked and lived in NYC. At the end of our 2 weeks, we will put on a showcase to show our friends and family the types of things we learned during camp.
