Located inside the Midvale Main Street Theatre, we welcome the MMST Performing Arts Academy.
Eve Speer has a Master of Fine Arts in Shakespeare and a BFA
in Acting from BYU. She recently played Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney
Todd. She is a gifted music instructor and performer and has taught several college acting classes. Eve is currently enrolling vocal and acting students.
Holly Evans is teaching beginner voice, theory, and guitar lessons. She has been involved in musical productions throughout her life and studied music at Southern Utah State. She is an accomplished vocalist, pianist, and guitarist.
Our Instructors
Private Voice Lessons are $20 per 45 minute session.
Lessons focus on tone, theory, presentation, pitch,
breathing, and audition techniques. Each student will receive individual training on a weekly basis. Every 6
weeks, students will share songs with other students in
a Studio Experience where each student will perform for
one another. Each student will record a song on a CD every 3 months in order to mark improvement.
Private Acting Lessons are $20 per 45 minute session. Lessons will focus on monologue and scene study preparation, movement for the stage, exploration of acting techniques, and introduction to Shakespeare. Private Acting Lessons are open to students of all ages.
Beginning Guitar Lessons are $20 per 45 minute session. Lessons focus on learning and understanding chords, the neck structure of the guitar, and having a fast track to really playing your guitar. If you have a guitar that you have never played, or know a few chords but would love to learn how to really enjoy playing, this is a great program for you!
Theatre Workshops

We are excited to begin our next Theatre Workshop!This workshop is 10 Weeks of classes split into two 5 week sections. It is open to Adults, ages 16 and older.
The first 5 weeks we will focus on contemporary acting styles--Stanislavsky, Viewpoints, Laban.
The second 5 weeks focus on Shakespeare, stage movement, and diction.
Each 5 week Session is $100. If you sign up for both sessions in advance, it is only $175.
Enrollment is ongoing. Once a class is filled, we begin enrolling for the next class!

We are just as excited to introduce our next Youth Musical Theatre Workshop! Enrollment is ongoing and will run as an 8 week session. We begin once a class is filled and then begin enrolling for the next class! Give us a call!
12-15 year old students will meet every week on Tuesday from 4-6pm and 8-11 year old students will meet every Wednesday from 4-6pm.
During our 8-week session, students will create a performance from musical theatre songs, familiar fairy tales, and fun poetry! We will focus on stage movement, acting, and singing!
Join us for an original performance at the end tailored to each class.
We offer a 15% discount for siblings. Class sizes are limited.
